THE PROBLEM

The challenge is that traditionally meter installers have not been required to provide file flows. Energy suppliers have to be SMETS2 accredited by the DCC before 25th November and they need the installers to be ready.
Meter Installers (MAM/MOPs) need to be able to handle SMETS2 for the DCC Smart Meter operating model. The deadline of 25th November 2017 for suppliers to have completed their DCC readiness is fast approaching. The SMETS2 data flows are complex, there is no ‘manual option’ to scale the solution.

THE SOLUTION
MATs provides flows for SMETS2 installations allowing installers to deliver industry standard file flows and custom flows. MATs is currently going through the final stages of testing with one of the suppliers. Once accepted, MATs delivers the SMETS2 file flows for the Supplier, Installer, Hand Held Device and the industry flows
