When it comes to security tools, you can never have enough integrations with third-party tools. One such integration that our customers have been asking for is OpsGenie — a monitoring and alerting tool. CloudSploit is happy to announce that we now integrate with OpsGenie, allowing your CloudSploit security alerts to be sent to your OpsGenie account for processing.

To get started, create a new API-key based integration from the OpsGenie dashboard. Copy that API key and paste it as a new OpsGenie integration in the CloudSploit console.

Creating a new OpsGenie Integration

Now, you can create new alerts from the “Alerts” page, routing the results to OpsGenie. You can also choose to have new scans that result in new risk detections sent to OpsGenie as well.

You can create as many OpsGenie integrations as you’d like, and configure them with as many alerts as you need. We recommend configuring the alerts and integrations in such a way that the relevant teams within your organization receive alerts for the accounts they manage. For example, you can have EC2 alerts sent to your DevOps teams, while account-wide settings (ex: MFA disabled, password policy, etc.) sent to your security or compliance teams.

You can start using OpsGenie integrations today!
