The first generation of creator staking pools was introduced in early November. But not without leaving scope for improvement. Learn how you can now stake for your favourite creators and land up to 444% APR during the promotional period.

Following the big pivot we made to Sway Social in early December; and on the back of great feedback gathered from our large user base, we set out to revamp the first iteration of the creator staking pools — by building a new UI (user interface) that suits our vision for the product a lot better. This in turn; will allow for an overall simpler experience for the user as he goes about staking for the creator of his liking.

Looking Ahead: Why You Should Start Staking Today

Even though every pool has to be claimed by the original creator in order to begin the distribution of rewards, there is one glaring reason why it’s in your best interest to start staking right now:

Being first pays off.

It’s not rocket science. The first position in the pool gets the most favourable terms to yield greater rewards — and enjoys the luxury to sit at the top of the pyramid, forever.

Imagine if celebrities like Gary Vee or Paris Hilton one day decided to claim their creator pools. By being early, you would immediately be at the forefront to get the lion’s share of the bargain. And this doesn’t even mention the promotional period we offer to early stakers.

This greatly diminishes the risk of placing a stake at a loss — and even gives you the chance to withdraw your stake in case the creator doesn’t claim his pool.

Terms To Stake

• Staking will only be available from January 2022 to September 2022 (anything outside of this timeframe won’t be processed)
• Users can only stake unlocked/vested tokens
• Minimum amount to stake (minimum position amount) is 1,000 SWAY
• Staking will be available in 3 promotional tiers: with 444%, 222% and 111% APY
• The promotional 444% is available only until the end of January 2022
• Rewards are not compounded and can be claimed on a monthly basis
• Claimed rewards can be staked as well but in a new stake position
