It has been an amazing first three weeks since we launched SWAY on Gate.io and opened the Clout.art platform to the public. Now that we have launched it is time to get down to the business of redefining the creator economy for the web3 era.

We are thrilled that more than 3,500 NFTs have already been minted and more than 10,000 users have interacted with the platform. This is just the beginning. As we have said many times before — we are tackling a chicken and egg challenge and will gradually deploy new features for both creators and collectors.
Progress to Date
In our whitepaper we did what most projects do, ambitiously look into the future and propose a roadmap where all the pieces fall into place effortlessly. As is always the case, now that the plan is actively being battle-tested, there are challenges for us to overcome.
When we first launched the app, there were some issues with some buggy behaviour, and occasionally the Polygon Network seemed to freeze due to overloading.
Multiple users noted that there were issues with minting on mobile. Although the first version of the platform was not designed for mobile, we noticed that 85% of users were visiting us using a mobile device, so we are accelerating the development of a mobile compatible version.
Still, despite these teething troubles, we pushed through and so far:
The initial product is deployed. Additionally, the airdrop registration ran from the end of July and throughout August. More than 100,000 users signed up!
The first live version of Clout.art was exclusively for those who signed up for the airdrop, giving us a chance to shake out the bugs, some of which we describe above, before opening it up to anyone with an Instagram account.
Our creator staking pools were also delayed for a short while because of last moment modifications. But we did do some great work showcasing Xportal and just recently introduced a facelifted version that also supports minting on mobile devices. We listened.
One Roadmap to Rule Them All
One thing we are really proud of is the collective experience in the team, although if we had been a lot younger we might have realised that we needed to start with mobile! One influencer we are working with said that she has not used her desktop computer in over four years! However, where that experience has counted is in giving us the ability to pivot when we need to, and this is reflected in our new updated timeline.
Another challenge that we must face is that most creators are not MetaMask users and our challenge is to break that barrier and make burning an NFT as simple as signing up for a new Instagram account. And do it on their phones.
For today’s generation, everything is happening on their phones — in 3 clicks or less.
These realisations have significantly influenced our revised timeline. Step by step we will be adding features that focus on making Clout.art a fun, simple app to use while holding a phone. Yes, we are pivoting to mobile first!
v1.0 Facelift + Mobile responsive version
Creators and collectors can access and create their account, mint and trade NFTs on their Android and iOS mobile devices the same way they do that on their desktop computers and tablets.
Creator pools v0.8 with promotional APY
$SWAY token holders can stake their tokens in the first version of creator pools, earning a promotional APY of up to 99% until the release of the first version of Sway Social.
Pillar wallet integration
Our native token $SWAY available for Pillar, a multichain DeFi wallet that can connect cross-chain to Ethereum, Polygon, xDai, Binance Smart Chain, and more.
October started with our TGE and will conclude with the creator staking pools — one of the most important features launched and also the first component of the Sway Social Protocol. We will soon release a complete article on how you can earn up to 99% APY by staking with your favourite creator — and that can be any creator, artist, celebrity or influencer on Instagram or TikTok.
One click signup via Torus wallet
Users will be able to sign up using their email with Torus OAuth Login integration. Their account now works as a digital wallet.
Curated NFTs
Landing page updated to a curated content feed for storytelling purposes. Editors can now manage NFT drops and launch their own.
Mobile-friendly Instagram minting
Instagram (social account) connected and verified as part of the first NFT mint procedure directly from Instagram mobile app.
November is all about making our platform and token more accessible. Plus, another exchange listing in the pipeline (and that’s also as much as we can disclose) and a very special first celebrity drop are just around the corner. Stay tuned!
First cross-chain integration
We will be expanding our product to another blockchain. More on this will be announced soon!
Pay with fiat
Collectors can purchase NFTs with crypto currency via Metamask or with FIAT by paying with debit or credit card (Stripe).
Referrals
Creators can invite other creators to the platform with a personal referral code and collect rewards for new registrations.
Before we say goodbye to an amazing year, we’re doing something extremely bold. We’re expanding to another chain, adding fiat payments and implementing a feature that has been most requested by influencer/celebrity agencies, a built-in referral program.
Onwards to 2022
While we believe 2022 will be a big year in crypto, we think it is also the year when crypto transcends to mainstream with actual utility — and NFTs will have the main role in that.
We also see that the social DeFi space or SoFi will become stronger and we plan to ride that momentum to the full extent.

Adding TikTok to our roadmap is just a stepping stone towards the really exciting milestone planned at the beginning of March. The first release of the Sway Social Protocol and launch of the creator adoption mining, that will slowly distribute 100M SWAY into the ecosystem as new members join.
