Clover proudly sponsored International Women’s Day SF on March 17. The community-driven event comprised of 20 speakers and over 200 attendees. The celebration of women in technology consisted of tech talks about blockchain, virtual reality, professional development, and much more.

A team of volunteer organizers helped put the all-day event together. The speaker list was comprised fully of women and non-binary experts. There was also a beginner bootcamp to introduce kids to coding and show them the power of programming.

The event coincided with St. Patrick’s Day–an unofficial company holiday at Clover. Attendees found our Clover stickers and other swag a big hit for the seasonal occasion.

Representatives from our developer relations and recruiting teams talked to many of the attendees about careers at Clover and our products, services, and developer platform. We also showed off our latest devices–Flex and Station (2018).

“Attending this event was a great way to connect with women just getting into tech or those who have been in tech for only a few years. We’re always looking for great, talented people to join us at Clover!”

— Alicia, Recruiter at Clover
