Anne-Marie Imafidon founded the Stemettes in 2013 with a vision to inspire young women in to the science, technology, engineering and maths sectors (STEM). Her commitment to the cause, leading the way in bridging the gender gap in these industries, has just landed her an MBE for Services to Young Women and STEM in the 2017 New Years Honours List, at just 27 years old.

Since the Stemettes launched, Anne-Marie and her wonderfully dedicated team have moved from free hot desking to their own private office in Temperance. They have seen 14,000 young women through events, workshops and experiences designed to introduce them to a whole world of opportunities and ambitions. Congratulations to her and all of the Stemettes — we’re chuffed to have them be a part of the Collective fam, and it’s amazing to see such an incredible achievement recognised.
