Since 2009 the Collective project has relied on grants and raising revenue to support its activities. We recently completed the end of one of these grants, the Mayor’s Regeneration Fund, which was carried out from September 2012 to December 2015.

During the 37 months which the project took place over we transformed 11 co-working spaces and 5 pop up shops which created over 20,000 sq.ft of new creative space. We also ran 4 coding courses, carried out 2 accelerator courses, 3 public art interventions, a festival, hundreds of events and business support courses, and received 20+ national awards, some of which is shown below…

…All of which contributed towards creating 110 new businesses, 130 new jobs, £1.4m of press coverage and lots more benefits for Camden… You can read a full evaluation of the project by Renaisi, here.

The infographic above captures some of the things we achieved over the last three years. None of which would have been possible to carry out if it were not for the support of the project’s funders, the Mayor of London’s Regeneration Fund, Camden Council and Camden Town Unlimited.

Anyway, following completion of the project we caught up with a few of the businesses and individuals who’ve been involved over the last 3 years to learn more about how the project helped them…
