Collective member One Third Stories turned to Kickstarter

…to raise the funds needed to create an ingenious children’s book which starts in English and ends in another language. The book will introduce French, Italian or Spanish words gradually, allowing kids to ‘read their way in to understanding a different language’.

Funding campaigns are never easy, and we’ve spoken to lots of Collective members who said they were surprised by how much work is connected to running one successfully.

One Third Stories, however, have done just that. They smashed their original goal to raise £10k, and have currently been pledged over £21k.

Which means they are well on their way to creating a book which could give children a genuine head start in life. Congratulations to founders Alex and Jonny. An amazing achievement and a part of the Collective story.
