All your questions about CNN MoneyStream, answered.

Where did my CNNMoney App go?

  • We’ve replaced the CNNMoney app with CNN MoneyStream, a new way to personalize your business news.
  • You still have access to all the same CNNMoney content, as well as market data on more than 13,000 companies, 5,400 indexes and 30,000 ETFs and mutual funds — always one tap away.
  • CNN MoneyStream is your one-stop-shop for all business, money and financial news. Our reporters and editors choose the best content from all over the web and link to it. We don’t mind pointing our users to great material from other outlets. If we think you might want it, we’ll point to it.

Streams

What is a stream?

  • Streams allow you to follow the companies, people, business topics and market data that matter most to you.
  • In your streams, you get trading information and the latest news from CNNMoney and other leading sources.

How do I add streams?

  • There are two main ways to add streams. Either tap the “+” sign at the top of your screen or click the My Streams button at the bottom of your screen. Then tap “Add Streams.”
  • Tap the icon to add streams. Press “done.”
  • You can also search for streams at the top of your app and add them easily from the search results.

How do I manage my streams list?

  • In My Streams, tap the pencil in Android or tap “edit” in iOS.
  • In iOS, tap the red minus signs to delete streams, or reorder them by dragging streams up or down. In Android, you can delete streams by swiping left or right on a stream.

How can I find a stream?

  • You can search for a stream at the top of your screen.
  • You can also discover recommended streams by navigating to “Add Streams.”

Do you ever add new streams?

  • We are adding new streams just about every day.
  • If you have a suggestion for a new stream, we’d love to hear about it! Email us at cnnmoneystreamfeedback@turner.com.

I just want CNNMoney stories and videos. Where can I find those?

  • Follow CNNMoney Latest and CNNMoney Video for all of our content.
  • You can also check out our CNN MoneyStream originals, including the Big Idea.

Notifications

I get too many notifications! How do I manage them?

  • Tap the “hamburger” button at the top left of your screen. Select “Manage Notifications.” You can then customize your notifications by stream.

Companies and Markets

Get a quick markets update

In Top News, you’ll now see a ticker with the Dow, Nasdaq, S&P 500 and other major world markets.

  • Scroll across the ticker to get a quick look at how the markets are performing.
  • Tap the market you’re interested in to get a more in-depth look.

Create a personalized Watchlist

We’ve revamped the Watchlist so you can easily track the stocks you’re most interested in.

  • All the public company streams you follow will automatically show up in your Watchlist. So if you already follow the Apple stream, you’ll find Apple’s stock in your Watchlist.
  • To add more stocks, ETFs or indexes, simply type them into the search bar and tap the plus sign.

All the markets, in one place

In Markets View, you’ll see a snapshot of all the major stocks indexes, commodities, currencies and bonds.

  • Check here for index futures, commodities and other key stats.
  • Tap into any of the U.S. and world markets to get a more detailed look, including day, week, month or yearly view.

My favorite company doesn’t have a stream. How can I follow it?

  • Actually, it probably does have a stream. All public companies have streams displaying stock data, and we have plans to beef up that data.
  • You can find all streams by searching in the search bar at the top of your screen.
  • If your favorite company’s stream doesn’t have any content yet, hang tight. We’re constantly rolling out new curated streams with articles and video.
  • You can also follow our topic and sector streams, such as airlines or technology.

Email us at cnnmoneystreamfeedback@turner.com to share suggestions for streams we might add.
