Daily Rewind: Are you bored?

  1. President Trump’s battle with the media rages on. The president once again called for changes to America’s libel laws to make it easier to sue news organizations. This time, his calls come in response to a column that criticizes the New York Times’ coverage of him. Trump said several times during his campaign that libel laws should be revamped. Last February, he promised to “open up our libel laws so when [the press] writes purposely negative and horrible and false articles, we can sue them and win lots of money.” Read more from CNN Media’s Tom Kludt.
  2. Lululemon does the downward dog. The fitness retailer’s stock fell 21%, one day after it said sales would likely drop this quarter. The culprit? According to Lululemon’s CEO, its spring collection is just, well, boring. Lululemon will try to remedy the issue by launching more colorful clothing on its website as soon as next week. But it’s not just blah leggings that are hurting the company: Lululemon also faces stiff competition from bigger retailers like Nike. Read more from CNNMoney’s Julia Horowitz
  3. Qatar Airways offers a way around the electronics ban. The airline says it will lend free laptops to business-class passengers. Qatar Airways will also provide one free hour of Wi-Fi in the cabin, with a $5 charge to stay connected for the entire flight. It’s the airline’s “unique solution” to last week’s electronics ban ordered by the Trump administration. The measure prevents passengers from carrying most types of electronics on direct flights from the Middle East and Africa to the U.S. Read more from CNNMoney’s Aaron Smith.
