📈 The Dow hits a major milestone:

  • The Dow closed above 22,000 points after opening above the mark this morning. Talk about a record-breaking day! 🎉🎉🎉
  • The Dow is up about 20% since Donald Trump was elected president. The market rally is a point of pride for the administration, which has found itself engulfed in legislative failure and internal chaos.
  • Can stocks keep on winning? Investors are skeptical, since the month of August has a history of market scares.

🚗 Tesla reports impressive earnings:

  • Tesla reported better-than-expected sales of $2.79 billion last quarter.
  • Elon Musk’s company also said its new Model 3 car is on track to meet sales goals.
  • Tesla recently shipped its first batch of Model 3 cars. It’s the company’s first mass-market vehicle.
