TAIPEI (TVBS News) — A new solution has emerged in bustling cities where finding a parking spot can feel like searching for a needle in a haystack. LetsParky, an IoT-based platform, is changing the game by connecting drivers directly with available parking spaces, utilizing smart technology to ease the urban parking crunch.

Revolutionizing parking with technology
Gökhan Hıncal, founder of the parking management app, explained the core concept behind his innovation on the sidelines of the Smart City Summit and Expo (SCSE) in Taiwan. The app allows individuals to share or rent their private parking spaces via smartphones, offering a new way to monetize unused property. “With LetsParky, we offer our customers to share their parking space via their cell phones. And you can also rent your parking spot when you don’t use it and make money from that space,” Hıncal added.

The platform isn’t just for individual owners. “Our enterprise customers, they can choose to integrate in their own applications like EV charging stations, like restaurants, cafes. You can offer your own parking space to your customers,” explained Hıncal, highlighting the flexibility LetsParky offers businesses in optimizing their parking facilities.

Smart solutions for a modern problem
The core of LetsParky’s offering lies in its smart parking spot barriers and automation terminals. These devices provide real-time data and driver access, simplifying the process of parking space management. The LetsParky mobile app plays a crucial role, enabling drivers to easily view, select, and book parking spaces, either in advance or on the fly.

This innovative approach not only streamlines the parking process but also opens up new revenue streams for parking space owners while providing a much-needed service in densely populated urban areas.
