I carry around a burden — one that fulfils, a major source of excitement, my calling!

I am extremely lucky to be blessed with the ambition that we can create a world in which every man and woman gets the chance to nurture and create value with their talent if they choose to! I consider it a privilege that my support structure consistently empowers me to pursue this ambition — it is a responsibility which I enjoy and do not take for granted.

With CcHUB, we seek to create a platform that helps passionate individuals put their talent to use whilst creating value for society. This for me is what innovation is about and I have been extremely lucky to work with some amazing people at CcHUB doing just that. I have seen first hand how the actions of a few thoughtful people contribute towards making our world a little better. From re:learn’s work in Education, Wecyclers’ attempt to make Lagos cleaner, BudgIT’s influence in driving transparency and citizen engagement in Governance, Truppr’s contribution to helping people live healthy and active, GoVote’s immense contribution to mobilising people to vote and many many more. Its not gainsaying how much better our world could be if we empower people to fulfil their God-given talent.

Modern day technology provides an unprecedented platform for our generation to democratise access to opportunities — giving more people the chance to be part of building the world we collectively desire. We live in exciting times!

As I continue to push to help unleash more passionate and talented people to create shared value for the world and more particularly; Africa — I will be more thoughtful, methodical, factual and considerate. I am opting to pursue excellence as part of my commitment to deepening the impact of our work at CcHUB. Wish me well as I start a research degree in Technology Transfer and Innovation at the University of Leicester Business School.
