You’re never too young to learn how to discharge the power of leadership. Written by an author of the 2017 book, Thumos: Adulthood, Love & Collaboration, this article explains why everyone should learn how to lead using Thumoslang before high school.
A | About Thumoslang
[2] In 2019, Nickantony Quach stripped the rules off of the Thumos philosophy as presented in his 2017 book. What remains is the nomenclature Thumoslang. The nomenclature is so much more powerful than the philosophy that it has already been considered by a few people as the ultimate New Year’s resolution for all.
[3] Thumoslang is the nomenclature for social life. With it you can have more relationships with far less effort. If you want to become an expert in any field, you must first learn about its nomenclature, its naming system. If you want to achieve mastery in relationships, you must use Thumoslang. This conclusion is derived from Nick’s experience in leadership training in late 2019 for Norman D. Baker (born 1993), Jairson Ascencao (born 1999), and Alec Mustafayev (born 2002).

[4] Alec is a senior in high school. After he was exposed to both leadership and Thumoslang, he wishes he had known about Leadership Using Thumoslang long before the start of high school.

[C1] As graduation approached my friends started to drift away. I spent a lot of time in the past to build up these friendships, and it felt like such a waste of my youth to have most of my friends disappear from my life. Because I didn’t want to have to start over, I needed to make sure we would still have reasons to see each other even after we left. Does this sound familiar at all?
[C2] This is how I felt when I was 18. It’s too bad I didn’t have the knowledge in this book I’m working on back then. We gave this writing project the code name CoalMont, signifying Black Mountain, because this is one of the biggest and darkest problems in life for many.
[C3] Check this out, what’s crazy is that most people don’t understand this problem exists due to a lack of leadership. What’s crazier is that most people don’t understand what leadership truly means.
[C4] While I was a teenager, I never read anything on leadership, yet I led myself to believe I’d been a leader. [Shortly after] I turned 20, five months ago, I met Nickanthony Quach, creator of Thumoslang.
[C5] Thumoslang is the nomenclature for social life. If you want to become an expert in any field, you must first learn of its nomenclature. Thumoslang is the nomenclature for use in social life to achieve more consequential relationships with much less effort. To have better things in life, let Thumoslang turn you into a master of relationships and make you [as the individual] far more powerful than you’ve been led to believe.
[C6] Though not fluent in Thumoslang yet, it has already made me far more powerful than I could ever have imagined. It gave me the power to effectively heal the relationship between me and my mother in a few weeks. Not less important, it gave me full understanding of the concept of leadership in a few words.
Leadership; that means, ahead of history.
[C7] To be a group leader, you have to be at the forefront of the group’s history. Your leadership is effective when the history of your group is created according to your vision.
[C8] My friend group didn’t see what was coming because none of us were creating history for our group. That meant that we had no leaders, so when high school ended we fragmented.
[C9] This Black Mountain is not only a problem for students. Every other professional in the New World Order with lower and lower trade barriers among nations are forced to move from one city to another distant city. For some, from one nation to another distant nation, all within a few years. We are all desperate for a systematic solution, which, [by the way,] is the objective of CoalMont [Magazine].
D | Open Letter 2 by Alec Mustafayev
[D1] We are two friends from the Johnston and Classical High schools. One of us, Alec Mustafayev (born 2002) is wrapping up his senior year, while the other, Jairson Ascencao (born 1999) is still in the experimental stage of his life. We met by chance, but we felt it was no chance to discover that we faced the same challenge in life.
[D2] Though we didn’t realize it when we were younger, now we saw that we invested a great deal of time and emotion into the relationships with our schoolmates. Why should we spend so much time in building these relationships when all of a sudden our loved ones could leave? Especially when we love them?
[D3] There exists within us all a need for company. We often wish we could have the connections other people appear to possess. But something stands in our way. Something we call the Black Mountain, one of the biggest and darkest problems in life. It’s highlighted by the fact that our magazine Coalmont is named after it. Have you ever felt that you lacked a group to fall back on in hard times? Maybe that you had no friends at all?
[D4] This is an all-too-common dilemma for today’s younger generations. Survey after survey shows that most youth feel completely isolated from others. We personally can’t help but look around and see a world overflowing with loneliness.
[D5] Starting with [our hometown], we want to extend a helping hand to all who will take it. Our dream is to see as many people as possible join hands and unify as one community. We want to … unfragment our local communities.
[D6] We understand why so often, many want to leave the state as soon as they can manage. It isn’t uncommon for residents to associate their problems with the tiny city they live in. It can feel as though abandoning this place will leave all the baggage associated with it behind as well, but the city isn’t the problem here. What’s wrong is the lack of connections among its people. Running away from that won’t fix anything.
[D7] Our ideal streets would be ones where strangers feel free to strike up conversations with each other, where people aren’t unfairly judged, and where we can mutually help each other to make things better for all of us. Truly, anywhere can be made into paradise. It’s time this city became one.
E | What is the Black Mountain?
[7] According to the above letters, the Black Mountain is one of the biggest and darkest problems in life. It’s the lack of connections among neighbors. It prevents us from having the connections other people appear to possess. It makes many feel completely isolated from others as we live in a world overflowing with loneliness.
F | Why is Leadership Important Before High School?
[8] From the first letter, to be a group leader, you have to be at the forefront of the group’s history. Your leadership is effective when the history of your group is created according to your vision.

G | Why is Thumoslang Necessary for Leadership?
[11] Leadership is about getting people to create history according to your vision. This calls for better relationships. Thumoslang is about being a master in relationships, about having a Black Belt in social life. That’s why Thumoslang is necessary for leadership.
[12] Is there an alternative to Thumoslang? Before 2017, there were no alternatives, not even Thumoslang.
