Steve White first met Nickantony Quach in September 2018, when Ri4CTV had only nine subscribers. They rarely met or talked to one another in the following nine months. In June 2019, they met and carried out a conversation about the YouTube channel, captured by the video [Steve White | Grew Up In Rhode Island | S1E13](v=D4wC2VCAmDI). Chapter 1, Steve White and His Dog, of the book The History of Ri4CTV reports the first five minutes. The book is an attempt to write the history of the YouTube channel under a new light.
