Building a Living, Wise Web Together

At Coasys DAO, we aim to build a better web. One that is adaptable, human-centric, and much better at generating pro-social outcomes than what passes for so-called “social” media today.

We believe that this takes more than making ads less invasive, adding some fun new features, or policing speech more effectively.

Building a better web only works long term if we improve the very foundations of how we build our tools and how people can make use of them. We need to make what we build uncapturable.

We’ve already built a powerful infrastructure for this with our ADAM Layer that takes the lesson of agent-centricity from Holochain and applies it to everything.

Our next step is building a search (and reward) engine for the distributed web called Synergy Engine, which we’re currently fundraising for.

Today we’re announcing our Partner Program for all those who want to build this new web with us, and we want to invite like-minded collaborators (like you?) to join us in this mission.

Collaboration is in our (Social) DNA

The best example of meaningful collaboration is our own story. Coasys itself was born out of two initially unrelated projects: Junto and ADAM.

Junto set out a vision for a healthier social medium, built on Holochain. ADAM aimed to take the fundamental innovation of agent-centrism in Holochain and extend it to arbitrarily composed digital systems. While initially the plan for a collaboration was merely to build Junto on ADAM, over time it became clear that ADAM also wanted to grow into more explicitly structured social spaces. At some point, we were working together so closely and our values aligned so thoroughly that we decided to fuse our visions and teams.

This collaboration then led to Flux, our premier ADAM app and Discord alternative. With our core technology and premier app reaching meaningful maturity, our eyes are now set on building an ecosystem around the vision that animates them, as well as an alliance to steward this ecosystem.

Joining Forces

Coasys DAO aims at building a living, wise web at scale. To do so, we need partners who are as excited as we are about this prospect and who want to collaborate with others to achieve this. Our Partner Program is designed to support this objective by offering a social context and meaningful ways to support each other’s success through concrete collaborations.

Partnership Benefits

If we decide to become partners, here’s what you can expect.

Development Collaboration
- Project Integration: Opportunity to integrate your project with ADAM or other Coasys technologies.
- Technical Support: Committed support from Coasys DAO for seamless integration.

Network Collaboration
- Cross-Promotion: Mutual promotion of projects across platforms.
- Community Engagement: Joint community events to foster interaction and knowledge transfer.

Fundraising Collaboration
- Resource Allocation: 50% of resources contributed through our partners’ communities (that’s you!) will be dedicated to the development of their (your) ADAM-compatible components.
- Counting Contributions: you will receive a referral code which you may distribute in your community so we make sure all relevant contributions are attributed to your project

Who Should Partner with Us?

We already have a small but growing list of partners. Some examples are collaborative economy network Cacoon, social network and planetary OS CoreNexus, distributed app framework Holochain and its sister project and hosting network Holo, among others. You can find an up-to-date list of partners on our website at coasys.org.

We are actively seeking partnerships with companies and projects across the board, but are prioritizing especially trailblazers in the realms of Web3, AI, and sense-making technologies. We know that our tech is particularly well-suited to these three domains. In fact, we just released version 0.7 of ADAM and alongside it a version of our Discord alternative Flux that lets you choose your level of decentralization.

So if your project fits one or more of these categories and aims for either expansion, migration, or initial build-out, you are our ideal partner. And even if you’re not, we’d be happy for you to reach out anyway and have us help you figure out whether building on ADAM and joining Coasys makes sense for you.

Invitation to Partner

We invite you to join us and become a part of this alliance for this better web.
