Chatbot Design Plan
I had read some articles about what should be considered when creating a Chatbot, for example, define the goals going to be achieved, or some example of what kind of conversation or answer needs to be avoided.
Finally, I decide to follow the guidelines from “Facebook Developer”. According to Message platform on Facebook for Developers, there are some General Best Practices for building a chatbot. The document from Facebook assists me to define the purpose and conversation design to avoid confusing the users.
I use the design strategy from Facebook:
Design Strategy
- Determine your goals. Users can feel free to contact us. I collect the most-asking questions from the Facebook Page Message. The bot aims to answer regular questions and lead users to provide the information we need step by step.
- Decide what you want people to do. I hope users can get to know what can we do for them, general information about our service, and the most important is, leave the contact and requests.
- Plan how you’ll evolve.
