L’shana tovah, NYC. Start the new year off right with some of New York City’s best female comedians in Brooklyn’s greatest comedy venues — all tickets are $15 or under, and one show donates proceeds to a worthwhile cause. You don’t want to miss these!

Monday, 9/10: Butterboy @ Littlefield (Gowanus)

8pm, $8 online, $10 at the door

A new weekly show hosted by some of the funniest female comics, Aparna Nancherla (Bojack Horseman, Master of None, Crashing, Corporate), Jo Firestone (The Tonight Show, The Chris Gethard Show), and Maeve Higgins (check out her podcast Maeve in America!). This week they’re featuring Doogie Horner, Daniel Webb, Will Miles, Matty Litwack, and Aminah Imani!

Tuesday, 9/11: Phoebe Robinson and Friends @ Union Hall (Park Slope)

8pm, $15

Phoebe Robinson hosts this standup special in Union Hall’s intimate basement.

Phoebe is best known for the WNYC-podcast-turned HBO-special 2 Dope Queens and the Netflix movie Ibiza. She also cohosts a podcast with Broad City’s Ilana Glazer called Sooo Many White Guys and releasing her latest book Everything’s Trash, But It’s Okay.

Wednesday, 9/12: Thoughts and Prayers: A Mandatory Assembly @ The Bell House (Gowanus)

7:30pm, $10 in advance, $12 at the door

The BFFs behind Between Two Bushes, Lacey Jeka and Kristen Buckels, return for their philanthropic Thoughts and Prayers series at the Bell House. This time they’re raising money for legal advocacy group RAICES in response to the family separation crisis at the border.

Jeka and Buckels host an all-star lineup featuring Dulce Sloan from The Daily Show, Sydnee Washington (Death of Bottle Birl), Alison Leiby (The Opposition and The President Show), Will Miles (writer on The Chris Gethard Show), Michelle Buteau (Late Night Whenever), Gary Richardson (writer for SNL), Alex English (opened for Michelle Wolf) and Colin Quinn (of SNL fame).
