Nooklyn kicked off summer 2018 at the Bushwick Collective Block Party, right in front of our Bushwick office. Top street artists produced massive, Instagram-worthy pieces to celebrate the neighborhood’s art scene. These spray can masters worked on their murals in real-time, while musical acts including Ja Rule, Chris Webby, DJ Evil Dee, Statik Seletah provided backdrop tunes. Food trucks and local vendors lined the street and people even got colorful designs spray painted on their arms, legs, and faces.

At the Nooklyn tent, we had animal skulls, wooden signs, tapestries and other cool items people could purchase to decorate their apartments. Our team also had a blast handing out free t-shirts and tote bags to attendees.

The block party was jam packed as the day went on, with people snapping photos of the artwork and crowding around the stage as performers began. Scroll through gallery below for some colorful behind the scenes shots!
