Join us for National Advisory Council Election Regional Forums
This past Monday, Code for America kicked off another round of elections for the Brigade National Advisory Council (NAC). In total, thirty excellent candidates have thrown their hats into the ring to serve on the next NAC. Brigade members across the country got their first opportunity to meet the candidates on a kickoff video call last Monday evening.
Voting is currently open and runs through Friday, February 9.
In order to hear more from the candidates, the current NAC and Code for America are hosting five region-focused candidate forums in the coming days.
Here’s the schedule with links to each one-hour regional candidate forum:
- At-Large: Monday, 2/5 at 8pm ET / 5pm PT (calendar event)
- Midwest: Tuesday, 2/6 at 8pm ET / 7pm CT (calendar event)
- South: Tuesday, 2/6 at 8pm ET / 7pm CT (calendar event)
- Northeast: Wednesday, 2/7 at 7pm ET (calendar event)
- West: Wednesday, 2/7 at 6pm PT (calendar event)
The forums will be hosted via Zoom online video conferencing.
We encourage all members of the Brigade network to watch their regional forum and the At-Large forum. Consider hosting a watch party with your Brigade, particularly if the forum is during hack night. (Thanks to Laura Biediger for the idea.)
We also want to ask questions of the candidates from you, the Brigade membership. If you have a question for the candidates, take a moment to fill out this form:
