Sony Playstation Network → Getting Error E-82000054 when trying to add a Credit Card

The Problem

Sony doesn’t seem to be the brightest tools in the shed (;-) because when you try to add a CC to your PSN account it errors out with a E-82000054. When you press the ▲ , it takes you to a site and says it has no information on it.

Upon further investigation, I found the solution to the error.

The Solution

You have a address entered that doesn’t match the card

Try the address that is associated with the card and click Save again. Hopefully it will work for you as it did for me.
