Taking notes and sketching as a dev

with but also without an iPad or an Apple Pencil!

I do have an iPad. And also own an Apple Pencil. I use the former mostly to read a chapter or two from an e-book every morning (I read printed books in the evenings), and the latter mostly when I want to draw silly things and landscapes to relax. Sometimes I also take notes on the iPad, perform one-man brainstorming sessions, and sketch out app screen designs, but all these cases are somewhat rare.
