How to Write a Blog

Bang! Always start with a bang to blow your readers’ minds. And use your keywords: keywords, keywords, keywords! You want to be #found. Not just by anyone: You want to be found by your most precious customer: the Google algorithm. Stroke it. Caress it. Feed it. It likes short sentences. Very short. Don’t try to write clever stuff.

Oh, and you always want paragraphs. Preferably with titles, keyword infested. But of course you don’t want to make it look like keywrd-stuffing. We would of course never do that! We just mention matters of public interest, and buzzwords, and fashions, and tags, and labels, and categories.

And finally: Go and promote your blog in social media. Tweet it. Follow people you want to be followed by. Like other people’s posts. Comment on other blogs. Be public. Don’t just blog your life (that’s so 2017) — live your blog!

Oh, and, if you want, and have time, you can also think a bit about what you want to say: Hello World! This is CODE University of Applied Sciences’ brand new blog. Next time we will write something meaningful — promised!
