Lab book post #1

This week’s lesson was my first experience with programming and was both exciting and confusing. We were introduced to python in the class which I am eager to learn more about and be able to understand. I found that in the class everything I did was simply copying down what we were shown but I hope that in the future I will grasp the concepts better to be able to better follow what is being done.

We also used a little program called to get a basic understanding of programming something. It gives you the ability to program a turtle to move and perform functions and with some trial and error I was able to create the letter ‘W’ with a drawing turtle. After some more tests I also worked out how to repeat the action, scale the image, adjust it’s stating position and change the colour, all of which I combined to make a a silly and chaotic spam of ‘W’s over the screen.
