Having a goal may end up saving you!

I will not lie to you! Right now, my life is a mess and I have no idea of what I should do in the next few months. Actually I end up loosing myself on what I will do in the next days.
About a year ago I was feeling almost the same way, with the tiny difference that today I have some projects and I know that I am not the only one feeling this way. Returning to the main point of this post, it was a unique goal that took me from inertia and get me to a job where I could learn more in one year than I had learned since college.
Now, Did I reached my goal? Absolutely not! Actually I was putting all my strengths and beliefs on the simple desire to move to Canada for one month, but instead I end up spending 3 months on Italy for my new job. It was unexpected, it was a disaster in some points. It totally worth it and I would do it again at any time.
Returning to my goal of moving to Canada, it was not so simple when I think about it. I had to study hard, so I could get a job. I had to improve my survival skills (cooking, cleaning, living alone). I had to improve my english, so I started taking classes. And the most important thing, I had to keep going and putting all my faith on that.
I do believe that when you want something, if you give 110% of you for that, there is no plausible excuse for you don't get it. And the part about saving your life? It's different for everyone, you will see it on your quest for your goals.
Life is a journey, not a destination.
