Welcome to a special series of Code.gov posts where you get to know the members of the team through a Spotify playlist. The idea is that you get insight into who we are, and what we listen to while we work or just relax. Each month, a new Spotify playlist will be featured, and we invite you to have a listen and share with us on social media any tracks that you think would be a good addition to the mix. This month, we meet Code.gov’s Communications Chief, Tee Morris.

Meet Tee Morris, Communications Chief at Code.gov

Tee has quite the diverse, eclectic background. His work in social media brought him to Code.gov, but the arts have always been a part of his life. His earliest memory of the impact music played on his life is in 1977 when he purchased the Star Wars soundtrack, the first album he bought with his own money. “The movie had such an impact on me, and this was the beginning of my soundtrack collection.” Today, Tee continues to write to music from his favorite films, television shows, and video games. “I can write to music with lyrics, but I prefer scores that conjure an emotion or a moment. That reaction inspires me, and the ideas start flying.”
