Intro to CS July Updates
We’ve made some awesome new additions to the CodeHS Intro to CS course in July. Here’s a recap so you can check them out!
New Additions
Challenge Modules
Four challenge modules have been added to the course to cover content found in the JavaScript and Graphics, Control Structures, Functions, and Animations units. Check out some of the example challenges!
Final project module
A module has been added where students are able to create their own extended final project to showcase their creativity and all the skills they’ve acquired throughout the course.
End-of-Unit Quizzes
Extended end-of-unit quizzes have been added to test the concepts learned in the JavaScript and Graphics, Control Structures, Functions, and Animations units.
Pair Programming
A Pair Programming lesson has been added to the Graphics Challenge module to give students structure when working together to build a program.
