Coming Soon: Mobile Apps Summer 2019 Updates

This summer, we’ll be making some changes to the Mobile Apps course. Be on the lookout for these changes coming around mid-August!

Planned Alterations

Lessons

We’ll be separating our lessons into more bite-sized pieces and giving students more opportunities to develop these skills through additional exercises and challenges.

We’ll also be adding some brand new lessons focused on the following topics:

• Buttons
• Text Input
• Using the Dimensions API
• Creating Multi-Screen Apps

Projects

Students will complete 4 larger projects throughout the course that will solidify the skills they’ve learned, culminating with time to create their own app on their own or in a group.

Resources

Updated lesson plans will accompany each lesson to give teachers further information on how to bring the lesson’s content to their students and where additional resources can be found.

Handouts will be added to each module to give more options for offline instruction.
