In a new survey conducted by the technical hiring platform company Filtered, the maker of a cutting edge technical hiring platform, 96% of talent acquisition (TA) leaders agreed it is important for technical candidates to have experience with generative AI.

Let’s repeat that number: NINETY SIX PERCENT.

Considering most folks were unaware—or at least inexperienced with generative AI a year ago, this is impressive. Record-breaking, even.

The near saturation of the market in such a short time stems from real productivity gains, of course.

Developers incorporating tools like ChatGPT and Copilot into their programming process often report productivity gains of 25–30%.
