WiFi has officially become faster. We are expecting to see some significant performance improvements in comparison with the previous generation. WiFi 6 is not just a typical update aimed at improving access speed. Rather it is a solid foundation for higher flexibility and future improvements. This article is just about what this new update means for all Internet users like you and me.

Lets however mention the definitions first. When we talk about WiFi 6 we refer to the 802.11ax. This just makes it much simpler for everyone involved. Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) and Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) also experienced a naming modification for the simplicity of users. These conventions will also be displayed in the future models of cell-phones so you can know exactly which version you are using.
