Make a WebApp in a Day’ — Event 2, 29th April 2017

We had ‘Coders of Colour presents: Build a WebApp in a day’ on the 29th of April 2017.

Young people alongside their mentors worked on HTML, CSS and JavaScript to make some awesome websites and webapps.

During lunch, Kristian Hamilton, a Frontend Engineer at Gumtree told us about his job and how the young people can apply the skills they learnt on the day to a career in tech.

Beauty Odeyemi, a Year 10 student really enjoyed her day.

It was a spectacular day — even the parents also had a great time! Thank you to ustwo for the space and David, Ethel and Kristian for being amazing mentors.
