1 Year Later Flutter Web Still Sucks

So I started writing on Medium after Flutter 2.0 came out and Flutter Web was released. Flutter web was pretty disappointing of a release. It did not feel native and there were problems with SEO. And I thought these problems were cursed problems:

So Flutter 2.0 was released one year ago. One year of web support. Surely that must be enough time to fix things. So how are we doing now? Well, my impressions of Flutter Web are even worse than when it was first released. Let me explain.

Disclaimer: There seems to be a lot of complaints that my articles are harmful to people learning Flutter. I don’t understand this, but I want to make it clear that this article is not designed for people new to Flutter. And I do love using Flutter. The reason why most of my Flutter articles are negative is because it’s easier to write about negative things.

So since Flutter 2.0 then there have been a lot of new versions of Flutter. Flutter 2.2, 2.5, 2.8, and now 2.10. Which begs the question: what happened to Flutter 2.1, 2.3, 2.4, 2.6, 2.7, and…
