A quick one for you guys out there looking for scoops, it seems the long-awaited first new Apple display is ready for launch.

In fact, it was ready as early as November 2021 at the last Apple event. In this week’s Power On newsletter, Mark Gurman intimates it should have been ready with the unveiling last year of the M1 Max & M1 Pro MacBook pros.

There is also evidence that there is a 7K display which will be running the A13 Bionic chip inside. Its development codename has been J327. Pixel count and final size is currently unconfirmed, but it may go on sale along-side the 32 — inch Pro Display XDR and be as large as 36 — inches. If that were the case, then it would be the first time since 2014 that more than one Apple display has been available.

Along with the Studio display, a new Studio Mac is coming our way soon too. Aimed at professional users, it will be based on the Mac Mini and sit between the current Intel Macs left in the line-up; the high-end Mac mini & the Mac Pro. Two versions are in development, with the project named J375. They will utilise the same M1 Max chip introduced in the 2021 MacBook Pro models, while the other will use an Apple Silicon chip that’s more powerful than the ‌M1 Max‌.

It will be a busy few weeks, that’s for sure. Follow me here on Medium and also on YouTube. Content coming out all the time…..
