Big Update for Gemini in BigQuery

No day without new exciting news about new AI tools, software and features — this time for Google SaaS Data Warehouse BigQuery.
Since OpenAI and Microsoft presented ChatGPT and integrated it into their Cloud and Office products, also AWS and Google strengthen their focus on AI integration into all kind of services. Google therefore developed it’s own multimodal large language model Gemini developed in DeepMind, serving as the successor to LaMDA and PaLM 2[1].
Since some time Gemini was already implemented in BigQuery and could support Developers and Analysts with SQL query generation. Now Google launched the following Gemini in BigQuery features which are now available in Public Preview[2][3]:
