Ever since we published The Developer Journey Map in our Apress book Developer Relations: How to Build and Grow a Successful Developer Program, we have been yearning to make it interactive. While the DevRel Community has positively received and adopted the map, we always felt we could do more with it.

Therefore, today, we are delighted to announce that The Developer Journey Map template is now available free of charge from the Figma Community catalogue.

Whether you are a DevRel pro or just starting out, you can now easily create your Developer Journey Maps using FigJam. Figjam has a simple drag-and-drop interface, drawing tools, and a vibrant community.

The template includes all the instructions and tips needed to create your maps. If you are comfortable with Developer Journey Mapping, you can jump straight to completing your map. If you are new to FigJam, we include tips and shortcuts to quickly get you up and running.

Watch this video, which provides an overview of the template, features, and purpose.

We hope you enjoy using the template. Let us know what you think, and be sure to share your Developer Journey Maps with us. We can’t wait to see what you create!
