Last year, Google has already announced Data Clean Rooms for BigQuery — expected roll out was Q3 2023 — now with a little delay, Google made them generally available.

Data Clean Rooms provide a security-enhanced and privacy-preserving environment for multiple parties to share and augment data without moving or revealing the underlying data[1]. They will be available in all BigQuery regions through Analytics Hub and can be created and deployed in minutes. Customers can use Google Cloud console or APIs to create secure clean room environments and invite partners or other participants to contribute data[2].

The concept of a Data Clean Room is to keep user data isolated and private. A Data Clean Room provides aggregated and anonymized user information to protect user privacy, while providing advertisers with non-personally identifiable information to target a specific demographic and for audience measurement [3].
