And if you want to transit to tech, you might need to look at these in-demand tech skills put together in no particular order.
1. Product Management:
Oftentimes, people think project management is the same as product management. However, they are different. Product management is about the product while project management is about the time frame it takes to ensure the product is available.
Product management is an organizational function that oversees all aspects of a product’s lifetime, from development to positioning and price, by putting the product and its customers first.
2. UI/UX Design:
It is important to know that the User Interface designer is different from the User Experience designer.
The UI designer designs the layout of a website or software, the aesthetics while the UX designer focuses on the functionality and usability of the website and software. They are different but they work hand in hand to ensure a good user experience.
3. Tech Sales:
Sales are the ultimate end of a product. It is one of the most in-demand tech skills. It doesn’t require coding. Are you good at business? You can do exceedingly well with tech sales. The technology you sell could be software or hardware, know the product in and out. Recruiters are looking for people with this skill.
4. Technical Writing:
Can you make complex instructions simple? Then you should try out technical writing. It entails writing guides or instructions in a way users can easily understand. If you are into coding, you should try technical writing as well. You can be a tech writer in any of the tech niches.
5. Web3/Cryptocurrencies:
Web3 is the new guy in town. It’s a new world and if you don’t understand blockchain, you might find it confusing. Designers, writers, and digital marketers are needed in the world of Web3.
Having these skills and understanding of Web3 will position you for jobs. Web3 is huge and you should look into it.
