What skills should you bring with you so that you can join Google as a Data Scientist? I found the following requirements in a job offer as a Data Scientist in Marketing at Google [1].
3 years of experience in Data Science or a related field.
Experience in a customer-facing role translating technical concepts and solutions to non-technical and executive audiences.
Experience in statistical methodology and computational programming.
Experience in Marketing Analytics and/or Software Development, including using SQL, R, or Python.
These do not seem to be very different from what other Data Scientists need.
