If we think about active noise cancellation, these headphones deliver a unique experience in terms of noise cancellation. Since this is a novelty, it currently offers the best possible active noise cancellation. Let’s take a look together at how this is possible.

The XM5 headphones offer more microphones sensing the surroundings than the previous generation; thanks to this, they significantly improve noise cancellation.

Still, at the same time, we get better features of the ambient sound mode where the previous generations had a more transmitter-like impression, whereas the new generation has a more natural sound.

The headphones are made of recycled plastic that has a matte feel. As such, the headphones are incredibly comfortable on your head and will last for hours without taking them off. You will find a USB c connector for charging on the right shell. The headphones offer connectivity via Bluetooth 5.2 or 3.5 jack.

The battery life per charge remains the same as before, i.e., 30h with active noise cancellation, and if you turn it off, it lasts 40h. The headset also offers connectivity to two devices simultaneously. The improvement here has been made to the sensor that senses that the headphones are on your head; now, the sensor is hidden under the grille of the headphones.
