Over the past few months, the AI Art industry has experienced incredible growth. The first tools to make a stir in the creative space were Dall-E2 and MidJourney which are both accessible behind a paywall.

Then came Stable Diffusion, an open-source AI model that goes head to head with Dall-E2 and MidJourney.

Since it is open-source software, it would be inevitable that plugins for well-known design tools like Photoshop will be created. So, the Stable Diffusion plugin for Photoshop was made available to the general public a few days ago.

The plugin is developed by Christian Cantrell and it looks pretty rad!

In this article, I’m gonna show you how to install the plugin and generate my first images with Dream Studio API.

What You Need

Before we begin, make sure you meet the following requirements.

  1. Adobe Photoshop 2022 v23.5.1. The plugin will not work in the older versions.
  2. DreamStudio account. You need to have an API key to generate the image.

Now on to the steps.

Step#1. Download the Plugin
