In trading on Wednesday afternoon in Asia, almost all of the top 10 cryptocurrencies experienced losses, including Bitcoin and Ethereum. The greatest loss among the main coins was Solana, which fell 5.94% over the past 48 hours to US$39.82. According to CoinMarketCap data, Bitcoin was trading at $23,014 as of 4:30 p.m. in Hong Kong, down 3.42% over the previous three days, while Ethereum was at $1,691, down 4.7%. Gains from a recent run-up in BNB were reversed after the issuer, Binance, announced it will start providing staking services for other coins. The price decreased 0.99% to US$320.82 in trade.

Tether and USDC, two of the biggest stablecoin issuers, declared on Tuesday they will support Ethereum’s proof-of-stake (PoS) chain as the “Merge” approaches and cryptocurrency miners unite to prevent the desertion of mining. In its announcement on Tuesday, Tether stressed the significance of preventing the Ethereum ecosystem from “being weaponized to cause misunderstanding and harm within the ecosystem.” According to the company, “PoS Ethereum will be supported in accordance with the official schedule.” To maintain the long-term viability of DeFi and other ecosystems using Tether tokens, Tether stated the transfer must proceed smoothly. After the merger, the proof-of-stake chain would have the full and individual support of USDC, the company declared.

On September 19, the merge is anticipated to take place, changing the Ethereum blockchain from its present proof-of-work (PoW) consensus model to a proof-of-stake (PoS) one. Crypto mining, which relies on the PoW consensus model, can be effectively eliminated by the merge, which has led to discontent among miners and proposals to split the Ethereum blockchain in order to maintain mining programs. Vitalik Buterin, the developer of Ethereum, said last week that many apps would have to choose between the two if the miners’ split became significant.

The platform will offer a variety of layers of entertainment and personality using NFTs, allowing users to monetise their activities on the site through digital asset ownership and social interaction. On the Solana blockchain, In order to launch its first NFT land sale in the upcoming months, Zepeto will construct the platform on the Solana blockchain. Early this year, the Zepeto Metaverse, created by South Korean internet behemoth Naver, attracted 20 million average monthly users.

Earlier this week, the coastguard attempted to salvage a luxury sport yacht that sank following a significant fire. During a time of year when a remarkable number of recreational vessels are on the water, there is always the possibility of an accident that may have tragic results. Fortunately, everyone was okay in this situation, but the yacht was not quite as fortunate. Ten Finnish passengers were taking in the stunning sights of Estonia’s Gulf of Tallinn, when a system error soon developed into a significant fire. It occurred over the weekend, and the weather was in no way helpful. High seas and strong gusts were additional challenges with which the Estonian Border Guard and police had to contend, in addition to the darkness of night.

All onboard managed to be rescued by the Police and Border Guard Service (PPA), however the yacht’s fate was less fortunate. Hooligan (formerly known as J&Li), a luxury yacht that was built in 2008 by the Italian shipyard Canados, was unable to be salvaged from the Baltic Sea due to severe weather conditions. A sleek and contemporary sport boat, the 90-footer (27.5 meters) was a Canados Open 90 model. Its two MTU engines allowed it to cruise at a comfortable 38 knots (43.7 mph/70.3 kph) while reaching a top speed of 47 knots (54 mph/87 kph). Hooligan’s owner was not identified, and it appears that the vessel wasn’t serving as a charter yacht at the time.

You have to show off when your personal water toy is a spectacular superyacht worth $66 million. Jimmy John Liautaud appears to be doing that. Recently, the billionaire showcased his stunning superyacht, named The Rock, worth $66 million, while anchored off the French Riviera’s Lerins Islands. Despite having made its debut in 2014, The Rock remains one of the most spectacular custom yachts produced by renowned Feadship. The 200-foot (60.4-meter) vessel was designed to appear “fast on the outside, but comfy within,” according to the Sinot Exclusive Yacht Design team, which was in charge of the project. With an estimated fortune of $1.7 billion from the fast food franchise, Jimmy John’s, he was one of the individuals listed on Forbes’ list of the world’s wealthiest people.

The opulent Monaco Yacht Show is one of the industry’s most eagerly awaited events. The fortunate attendees will have the opportunity to have a closer look at some of the most exquisite new builds of the year at the event, which is scheduled for the end of September. Lusine is one of the biggest and most impressive.

One of the finest luxury shipyards in the world delivered a brand-new superyacht to its owner this year. The owner is a Royal who also happens to be one of the wealthiest people in the world. Heesen is renowned for having produced some of the most magnificent pleasure vessels owned by billionaires, and its heritage endures. Its most recent accomplishment hasn’t been extensively advertised, so the big unveiling at the upcoming Monaco Yacht Show is eagerly awaited. One of the largest luxury yachts to debut at the exhibition this year is Lusine. With a volume of 1,060 GT and a height of 196 feet (60 meters), this enormous steel beauty presented a challenge to even the most seasoned engineers.

In addition to the other five staterooms that may seat an additional 11 guests, the Sheikh’s suite will effectively be a condo on the bridge deck aft. The interior, developed by the renowned Sinot Yacht Architecture and Design, is said to be one of the most intricate interiors ever created for Heesen. No pictures of Lusine’s interior have been made public as of yet, but as one might expect, it was created using extraordinarily expensive materials, such as rare leathers and expensive woods.
