The One Skill That Data Engineers Must Have (that is often neglected)
When you look at Data Engineer job ads, the companies usually have a long list of software and programming skills that you should have like cloud, SQL, Airflow, Hadoop, Python etc. But not this one.
In forums, articles, videos and courses, this one skill has rarely been mentioned.
This could be the skill you must have to progress your career to a higher level.
What I did?
Just a bit about my background. I am a Junior Data Engineer working in an IT consulting firm for about a year since I graduated from university. So what is it?
The answer is soft skills.
If you look at Data Engineer job ads, some companies would sneak in this criteria. But most of the time, the emphasis is on technical skills.
