What Happened To Proper Training?

A lament for the heady days of fun training — we sorely need to bring them, and the fun, back.

It used to be the case that training was something to be looked forward to — a swanky out-of-town hotel jolly, good (free) food, beer, and wine (if you’re refined beyond your years), and a decent and amusing instructor who really knew what they were talking about.
