When is it time to stop learning a programming language?

⏰ A personal opinion to stop wasting time as a developer

As a developer, we have a lot of pressure in terms of learning. We have to be always updated and we have to know about many different things: methodologies, languages, technologies, good practices, etc. For that, we have to invest our time correctly if we want to improve our profile.

A common doubt that has come to my mind on several occasions is when it’s the correct time to jump to another language or technology when you’re learning.

Should I spend one year per language? Should I make a project and then start learning something new? What should I do?

I thought a lot about this question and today I’m going to discover the reflection I have come to.
