Codex announces Simple Login feature — no blockchain wallet needed

d to announce a new feature for the Codex Viewer to make it easy for anyone to manage provenance on Codex, even if you know nothing about blockchain.
What is Simple Login?
Our new Simple Login feature means that you can sign up easily with your Facebook, Google or Microsoft account. When you create an account via simple login, you will be given a small grant of CODX tokens to create your first records for free. Accessing blockchain products can be difficult or users when trying to navigate clunky, blockchain wallets — that’s why we’ve created a way to engage with Codex that is as simple as logging in to any traditional website.
If you are already using Codex Viewer with your MetaMask account today, things won’t change for you — you’ll still be able to continue to manage your collection using MetaMask and pay for transactions using ETH.
Send Records with Email
Additionally, you no longer need a blockchain wallet address to transfer or receive records. Now you can simply enter an email address. You can send your Record to a buyer via email, so you no longer have to worry about whether the recipient has the ability to access a blockchain platform. If they know how to open their email, they will know how to receive and claim a Codex Record.
