February 2016
First training gig at Brainmatics, Design Sprint workshop, and Macbook Pro
Goals
Same as last month. I still creating content for AgileCampus.org.
It went well thought. I think in May or April, I will be in a state of having continuous demand for training.
Moments
1st — Commuter Line’s folks help me get back my stuff
I left my bag on a train. They were so professional. Salute!
2nd — New haircut
Finally. My best haircut so far. The Erwin Smith style.
3rd — Final day! The first training in Brainmatics
It’s a warp! So happy that it went well. My first three days training. :D
Also, I was sooooo tired. 5 days consecutive trainings — -including the free one at Fasilkom. :(
9th — Bye-bye my Depok home base
My sister got her final research on Tangerang. Thus, she went back home. Thus, I lost my last personal home base in Depok.
Thankfully, I still have Ardi. My collage friend who still live in Depok.
13th — Design Sprint Workshop at Kolaborasi
18th — First Experience in Rooting Android
To be honest, I was never a gadget geek guy. Back when I was a child, I get bored easily with Tamiya.
I love programming. But only for the sake of creating something I want. I was never being serious in any programming assignment back in college. I really really loathe doing a programming for other — -even when I get a bunch of money.
But today, I must summon my technical sense.
I bought Redmi Note 2 for my mom. Turned out, it was a kinda blackmarket phone from China. It was pre-loaded with un-erase-able Chinese adware (ads software).
I was googling voraciously and found no working answer.
The last option is rooting the Android, so I can install the fresh official OS (technically: MIUI 7 ROM). I was so scared. If I failed, my mom phone would turn into dead plastic toy.
Turned out. It worked. :)
22st-24rd — Scrum Training for some Government Guys
We used to complain about the work ethic of gov people. Compared to private, they were labeled as slower and less enthusiastic.
It’s okay to have generalization and stereotype. But beware when you met individuals.
As this day, I met a wonderful people from a ministry — -they’re my trainee. And they were cool. :)
25th — Family Hangout
Love them!
29th — My First Macbook Pro
Recently, my Ubuntu video editing app was broken. It reminded me that sooner or later I must buy Macbook Pro — -as I also need some high-end artistic content creating apps (video editing is just one of them) for my business.
So today, I bought, Macbook Pro. A used one — -my budget still tight though.
But I love it very much anyway: A Mid-2010 Macbook Pro.
30th — Asyraf
Asyraf accompanied me buying my MBP last night. So today, I help Asyraf create his own Youtube Channel.
While migrating the data from my old laptop to this Macbook;
