AC3 Is Officially An ICON (ICX) P-REP Candidate
We’re excited to announce that AC3 and MouseBelt are officially an ICON (ICX) P-REP candidate to help support the ICON Network. Check out the MouseBelt announcement here!
If you’re brand new to ICON it is one of the largest blockchain networks in the world. As a global blockchain project, ICON aims to remove barriers among different blockchains and allow them to exchange values without intermediaries. ICON’s goal is to hyperconnect the world and has recently released plans to move to delegated proof of stake (dPoS) using public representatives (P-REPs)
A total of 100 Public Representatives (P-Reps) are elected for the ICON Network by the delegation of ICONists. The top-ranked 22 main P-Reps will participate in block production, verification and making governance decisions. As the P-REP vote has gained global attention there are now over 200,000 ICONists waiting to vote for eligible P-Rep candidates to boost the ICON ecosystem.
Now that AC3 is part of the prestigious full-service blockchain accelerator program MouseBelt, we’re working together to operate and maintain 1 of the top 22 ICON P-REP nodes. In addition to AC3 being the native token for GrowYourBase where users can earn NFTs and tokenized assets, we’re fully prepared to help with ICON block production, verification, and governance.
