FaceTime

The most updated part of Monterey is FaceTime. FaceTime now has spatial audio which creates a sound field that helps conversations flow as easily as they do face to face. Your friends’ voices are spread out to sound like they’re coming from the direction in which they’re positioned on the call. FaceTime update also includes Grid View, portrait view, Voice isolation mode, the ability to join a FaceTime call with a link, Joining FaceTime call in the browser, and screen share.

Messages

Messages is also with Shared with you. Which gives the benefit to the user that the content(images, links, etc.) shared with you in Messages can also be viewed in other apps like if my friend shares a link to a news blog, it will also show up in the news app in the shared with you section.

Safari

Safari now has a streamlined tab bar, integrated Smart Search field, Redesigned tabs with a more rounder touch, Tab groups, and a redesigned sidebar. Safari looks so much better now!

Focus

Match your devices to your mindset with Focus. Automatically filter notifications based on what you’re currently doing. Turn on Do Not Disturb to switch everything off, or choose from a suggested Focus for work, personal time, sleep, fitness, gaming, reading, or driving. You can also create your own.
