I See The Words I Love You.

I saw my phone glowing in the pitch black.

watching the ceiling fan swirling above my head,

I see my phone’s fluorescent glow again.

I look at the clock it says 4 a.m.

the green letters send a shiver down

I follow the translucent glow, my eyes squinting

The glare from my phone burns my eyes.

I see sparkles of black and white.

my eyes befall the worst news ever.

I’ve lost my best friend.

through the Haze

I see the words,

“I love you”

and as they are falling apart

I see nothing
