An Acrostic poem in the spirit of the holidays.

Santa Claus brings joy
And love to a hopeless world.
Not only for children, but
The old and the wise, the believers and the non.
— A beacon of hope for everyone.

Christmas is he, and he is Christmas,
Less we forget what is important
And give over to our vises- the
Ugly demons of hate and prejudice. For
Santa Claus brings Good.

Be that evil which flourishes
‘Round our world with might,
I only see it more often
Now as everyone
Grows cold and dark,
Singing their hate on the internet:

“Meghan Markle isn’t worthy- she’s
black and has been divorced.”
“Gender ‘X’ on Birth Certificates
— — What a bunch of bullsh**!!”

Going into the future, I hope
One day soon we will see that the
Only thing we have to do is love, and
Drown out the reason for hate.
